Viticultural details
The vineyards are located in the small village Desmontà in the south-east part of Verona. The are is flat with sandy-clayey soil. The climate is continental: muggy and hot during summers and cold and foggy winters. These characteristics, so similar to those in the area of Bordeaux, have meant that the international varieties of grape have found the ideal development

Vinification and maturation
The grapes harvested in the afternoon are immediately pressed. The fermentation takes place with maceration on the shells for 12 days with the aim of optimal extraction of the aromatic components contained in the skins and dyes. During this phase, the fermentation temperature controlled at 28-30°C. Refining is done for 6 Months in the steel tank.

around 15,5 % vol.

Features

Colour: intense ruby ​​red with violet reflections tending towards garnet.
Bouquet: complex and deep with notes of black berry. Hints of spices, toasted wood and tobacco.
Palate: voluptuous, rich, round and intense.

Pairings

Perfect by itself as a meditation wine. Excellent with seasoned and spicy cheeses with mustard and meat stews.

Serve at: 18-20°C. (64-68°F.)
